The year is 2013 and Lotus Living have purchased the Silverwoods development along with the Black Bull Golf Course. Lotus said at the time “happy to announce that all future developments are moving forward and we are back on schedule.” They had an overall vision of planning along the waterfront precinct and hotel, continued development of the golf course, continued development of future stages of residential lots and a message of MOVING AHEAD! Pretty bold statements at the time and it wasn’t really that long ago, and yet look how far they have come…Tick, tick, tick, tick! 

We fast forward now to present day, we are in 2020 and boy have they delivered! What a journey they have been on! It’s extraordinary to think just how quickly the Silverwoods development has seen tremendous growth and incredible success since Lotus Living purchased the development back in 2013.  

Only nine holes were operational at Black Bull Golf Course. Developers, Lotus Living continued to build remaining holes, then launching in June 2015 was a completed 18-hole Championship Thomson and Perret designed golf course. In 2016, a new Pro-shop, maintenance facility, undercover driving range and state-of-the art teaching and fitting centre all completed. Black Bull was now fully delivered and operational. Black Bull is now officially ranked number 68 in Australia by Golfers Digest out of 1,500 courses – an incredible achievement in such a short period of time.  

Lotus has since completed and delivered over 200 lots to date, across several stages including a diverse mix and range of standard, water and golf-fronted blocks of land and townhomes throughout the Silverwoods estate. They proudly stand by a motto of delivering communities with a true heart and soul. They have indeed since delivered this to many families here at Silverwoods and continue to do so with a variety of land options currently available to buy right now to build your dream home and dream lifestyle. There are further stages also to still develop in the near future.   

The Sebel Yarrawonga was a vision many years ago in the planning and making by Lotus Living to create a prestige multi-million dollar development setting new benchmarks in the accommodation, dining, conference and events facility areas for the Murray River region. Recently opened in November, it’s an oasis located right in the very heart of Silverwoods, a Golf and Lifestyle Resort overlooking the stunning Lake Mulwala – it certainly has delivered! Creating jobs and providing an ongoing injection of visitors supporting the local and Murray region’s economy.
